At a T-intersection, the vehicle on the road that ends must yield to vehicles on the road that continues. In other words, if you are approaching a T-intersection and there is no stop sign or traffic signal, you must yield to vehicles on the through road. This allows for a smooth flow of traffic and prevents potential accidents at the intersection. Always be cautious and yield to oncoming traffic to ensure safe and efficient travel through T-intersections. **

Yielding the haunches is a training exercise in which the horse moves its hindquarters away from the rider's leg aid. This is achieved by applying pressure with the rider's inside leg and asking the horse to step its hind legs away from the pressure. This exercise helps to improve the horse's balance, flexibility, and responsiveness to the rider's aids. It also helps to engage the horse's hind end and encourage straightness in its movement. **

To teach your horse to leg yield, start by establishing a good connection and rhythm in the walk. Then, ask your horse to move away from your leg pressure by applying light pressure with your inside leg at the girth and asking your horse to move sideways while maintaining forward movement. Use your outside rein to guide your horse's shoulders in the direction of the movement. Be patient and consistent with your aids, and reward your horse for any effort in the right direction. Gradually increase the difficulty by asking for more angle and maintaining the rhythm and connection throughout the movement. **

In shoulder-in, the weight shifting is achieved by asking the horse to move its shoulders inwards towards the inside of the arena, while the hindquarters remain on the track. The rider uses inside leg and rein aids to create the bend and encourage the horse to shift its weight onto the inside hind leg. **

In shoulder-in, the weight shift is achieved by asking the horse to move its shoulders inwards while maintaining a straight line from the poll to the tail. This requires the horse to shift its weight onto the inside hind leg while crossing its inside front leg in front of the outside front leg. Both movements require the horse to engage its hindquarters and maintain balance and straightness. **
